Want aix software for power pc 850 thinkpad

Could someone help me to find the software for the 850 tinkpad.

Welcome to the forum!

I think it will be very hard to find AIX for that machine. You might instead try running Linux for PowerPC on it.

Take a look at thinkwiki.org and add some pages!

Hello,

The aix for these machines was not a special version. You just need to find a set of aix 4.1.5 media (or does the 850 also support 4.2.1?) then you are set. Chances are though that most of these CDs have been thrown out by now...

ll look through the drawers though i'm sure i have a set somewhere....
