Hi... I'm new to these forums, but I love my ThinkPads and have upgraded several times this year

I have a very nice T42 with these specs:

I bought it on ebay used and just use it when I travel
No scratches on screen or case -- machine looks nearly new and operates perfectly -- very fast
Has XP Pro SP2, activated and all updates with COA on machine

I only paid $400(+Sh&H) in November (think that was a good deal), but have already upgraded to an X61 for travel -- so my T42 sits on desk unused

I tried to cut and paste photo and info from my ebay purchase feed back section -- did not work -- but anyone interested in purchase, I can email photo and info -- email did work -- don't know why photo didn't paste here -- but I'm such a neeeeeeeeeeeeewbie!
