Looking for the full license COA, media not required (would be nice though) to make the installation on my second machine legit as well. I'll considder MSO 2003 Pro if the price is right.

That makes two of us! I would prefer an upgrade to either though as I already have a licensed copy of Office XP (doesn't work in Vista).

Sorry, OEM licenses cannot move from the hardware that it's attached to.

Here is where I'm supposed to plug FOSS right? 8)

That aside, you're probably better off finding someone in school that can get it for an educational discount, as that seems to be the best way in obtaining Microsoft Software as well as others(Adobe, etcetera).

Old school?

#8 Post by Drukwerkdienst.nl » Thu Jan 31, 2008 3:46 am

Educational licenses don't work for me, I graduated in 1980...

I am looking for the full professional Microsoft Office 2007 suite, or just the COA that goes with it.
Perhaps somebody parted out a machine that had it on it.
And if it can't be removed from the hardware, I'll even considder buying the part the sticker is attached to (providing it's a T41 or an R50 part).

Right, but if you know anyone who is in school. Son of a friend or anyone, they can get it at a greatly reduced price.

Is that how legal?

I bought Office Enterprise 2007 Win32 Finnish DVD directly from Microsoft for about 28 euros including shipping.

The price is for HUP (Home Use Program) license that I am entitled to because my employer has a license that covers also their slave's home computers.

It's worth checking out if you happen to work for a company that has this kind of "universal" license for MS products.

I didn't know about this until i accidentally noticed this https://hup.microsoft.com/ link on our Intranet site.

T,FTFY  Someone would just need to enroll in a 0.5 credit hour load to make it legal. Some community colleges may grant .edu addresses to fullfill the requirements of the Ultimate Steal program. Many of us already take classes from time to time to keep our skills current. Lucky for us.
