WTB: Recovery discs for T42

#1 Post by detroitslim » Wed Jan 30, 2008 6:42 pm

I have a T42, model ID 2373-4WU with Windows XP professional that I just bought. No recovery discs came with the system, so I need a set.

If you have a backup set, or can make a copy, please make me an offer.

Located in Los Angeles, but will pay for shipping, too.

If your IBM service partition is still intact, try an uninstall of Rescue and Recovery via Windows Control Panel and then a reinstall of RR via Lenovo's System Update.

You'll find that you now can make your own product recovery disks (as long as the original hidden service partition is still on your T42).
