IBM Thinkpad T42 1.6GHz 768MB 40GB WIFI DVD/CDRW

I had this on Ebay but I got a shill high bidder. Shame on me for not comming here first.

This machine served as my primary computer for almost 3 years. I've since received a new Thinkpad from my job and I no longer need this one. It has been a great computer, small and light, very responsive and very durable. It has the Windows XP Pro service partition on the hard drive and the Windows XP Pro product Key on the bottom so it can be restored to a fresh copy of Windows. I got a new battery in Feb of last year. It would make someone an excellent machine.

There are two things worth mentioning:
1. There are two small stress cracks on the plastic bezel around the screen. They're cosmetic in nature and do not effect the operation or the screen.
2. The power socket on the laptop has become weak over time. The power jack stays in but will come out with little effort. I've used the machine for a year like this.

If you're looking for a Pristine Thinkpad look elsewhere. If you need a good machine bid here. You get the Laptop and the AC Adaptor.
