I am selling a mint-condition 15.4" Macbook Pro on eBay for a friend. The auction is ending at 5:26 p.m. Eastern Time today. Check it out! Item description:

You are bidding on a MacBook Pro 15.4’ notebook in mint condition. It has a 2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2Gb of RAM, 4Mb of L2 Cache, a 120 GB hard drive, and OS 10.4 Tiger. It runs flawlessly, and has zero scratches or smudges, and has no dead pixels. It is 10 months old and still has almost 2 months left of Apples standard 1-year warranty (ends March 20, 2008). I am including all the original materials that came with the laptop (OS 10.4 installation DVDs, AC adaptor, DVI-VGA adaptor, remote, manuals, and original MacBook Pro box). I am switching back to a PC desktop for work because my lab is not very “Mac friendly”. I have loved this notebook immensely and take great care of my electronics, so this notebook is in perfect condition. I have pasted the notebook’s specs from the system profiler below. US shipments only please. Enjoy!

Hardware Overview:

Model Name: MacBook Pro 15"
Model Identifier: MacBookPro2,2
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 2.16 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache (per processor): 4 MB
Memory: 2 GB
Bus Speed: 667 MHz

Chris, this friend is that skinny blonde guy you met twice in my lab. He is going back to PCs after using this beautiful Macbook Pro for 10 months. He just ordered a Thinkpad R61 with 15.4" WSXGA+!

I am selling this for him because he has never used eBay and it would be hard for him to sell something with zero feedbacks.

Oh, cool! Does he have a 240X as well?

If I had a MacBook Pro, you'd have to pry it out of my cold, dead hands. I don't think I could ditch it for an R61, but to each his own I suppose. Is he looking for more durability?

No, he just likes XP more than the Mac OS. Also, he wants something cheaper than the Macbook Pro. The R61 cost him only $756 including shipping and sales tax.

He has a Thinkpad 240 with 300MHz Celeron and 320MB RAM. He bought it from me two years ago.
