WTB: HD-DVD movies...

#1 Post by SaberX » Thu Feb 07, 2008 10:58 pm

Dont know if there are any people here that have or want to sell HD-DVD movies.Thought i would try and see if anyone have any for sale.
I picked up a few off e-bay,but love to find lots of 4 or 5 at a time. There are only a few stores here in town that sell HD-DVD's and most of them are close to 40.00.
I just bought a HD player to go with the home theater room and want to add HD-Movies to the long list of dvd's.
I have about 15 or 16 hd-dvd's now.
Send me a list of what you have and if i dont have them and the price is right i'll buy them.

The more you have the better,Save on shipping.

Resistance is futile.
HD-DVD lost the format war. Why would you want to stock it now anyway?

Past: R40, X41 tablet, T60

FS: $819 shipped T61 7664-16U

FS: $49 shipped Atheros a/b/g/n

It doesn't matter if HD-DVD goes away as a format available in stores. If the OP buys a low cost HD-DVD player now, and finds movies he will enjoy, at a low cost, and uses it for 2 years before the player dies, he has more than got his moneys worth out of it. Or, another way to look at it. As long as his player continues to function, he can watch the movies he buys today as many times as he wants.

Of course, if you want access to choice new releases, well...., you'll have to have a Blu-Ray player as well.

This is one of the reasons i want to buy them.
There are still LOTS of hd-dvd's out there.
If someone is makeing the switch from HD-dvd to blue ray maybe they want to sell off all there hd-dvds at once.
I have the hd player now so i may as well get the movies for it.
I'll be getting a PS3 for the other side of the movies soon.
