WTT: (2) 512 PC2700 for (2) PC2100 for HP (it's picky)

I went to PNY and did their config for an HP Pavilion ze5270 laptop and ordered what it said, (two sticks of 512). Unfortunately when I installed them, the system only recognized 1/2 of each stick. I believe my system needs either PC2100 or PC1600. I even tried a BIOS upgrade and now it won't boot with those sticks in but it will with the old 256's. Would like to trade even-up as long as they are compatible and work.

PC2700 DDR-333/266 compatible with DDRPC2700, DDRPC2100, 333/266Mhz bus speed. Part# N512D270PT.

I really don't want to sell, looking to trade for two sticks of PC2100/PC1600 512MHz.

They came from MCM Electronics. All chips on both sticks are "hynix". Both stickers read as follows:

512 M, DDR SODIMM, N
64TND PO# 134644
ASSEMBLED IN USA

PNY Part#: 6464WKDYA
Retail Part#: N512D27OPT
OEM Part#: F4696A
MCM SKU: 83-9651 (this doesn't show up any more)

I have a variety of IBM-branded 512Mb PC2100 sticks that I wouldn't have a problem trading with you, but have no clue whether they would work in your HP.

If you find no other options, PM me and I'll mail you one to test it out and we'll take it from there.
