Hy,

I`m new in this community and my first post is a problem with my small IBM I-Series 1124 / 240Z Modell 2609 / 93J with XGA TFT

the USB Port is defect.....

I put an USB floppy disk into the port, but there are no function....

what I need....

a new motherboard from a 240Z or a I-Series 1124 or a complete IBM 240Z oder IBM I-Series 1124 with broken XGA TFT no one with SVGA TFT !!!!

Hi Frank...welcome to the forum!

Just an option for you, since your USB port is dead. You can always pick up a cheap USB PCMCIA card. This would actually be better, in that it would allow you the ability to have USB 2.0 speeds, instead of 1.1 speeds.

I`ve a sitecom PCMCIA Card, and it works fine..... but the condition from my I-Series is like new.... and I like it original.... all over....

that´s the reason....

I´ve looked at yahoo auctions..... there is a dealer named datapoint_web

he had a MoBo from a 240Z with 600Mhz, 128 MB RAM..... for high prices and other parts for a good price... and there are some complete people who sell the IBM 1124 for a good price

but all wouldn`t ship overseas.... and I´ve no friends in japan....

I know, here is one with a 1124 or 240Z with broken TFT... if I can get this, thats fine... ;
