WTB: R40e DVD-ROM (DVD-CDRW)

I have a problem, the original DVD-CDRW in my r40e is refusing to read the DVD's, any suggestions where to get a replacement? I'm considering buying and ultrabay 2000 drive from ebay and swap it from the ultrabay caddy to the internal bay of my r40e, which could be done, as I read. I'd be more happy having original for the R40e, but these seems to be quite rare on ebay, acutally there seems to be only one at this time, but not for a reasonable price. Anyone has it, or can suggest where to get it? Or is modyfing the ultrabay 2000 drive easy? Anyway, I'd most like to get the original R40e drive for at maximum $45 shipped to my country, It can be both, DVD-CDRW or DVD-ROM only.
