For sale is an extremely clean and new-looking ThinkPad T40 (easily a 9.7/10) with absolutely ZERO shine on the keyboard and a bright and gorgeous screen. The only cosmetic issue at all is some sticker residue on the top case that can probably clean off with a little effort.

This is a very fast T40 with absolutely no functional issues whatsoever. USB runs at full 2.0 speed and there are no graphics issues. Case is nice and tight.

Specs as follow:
Pentium M 1.6GHz
Intel 2200BG WIFI (I'll throw in an Atheros card so you can choose)
80GB 5400 RPM hard drive
1.25GB RAM (1GB under the keyboard and 256MB in the easy-access bottom slot)
6-cell battery with roughly 3 hour capacity (79 cycles, 35.3 WHR - Green)
CDRW/DVD Combo Drive
Radeon 7500 GPU driving 14.1" XGA screen.
Model number is 2379-D4U
Warranty long-gone, but if it was going to fail, it would have probably done so by now.
Finally, I ordered the long fan (I'm fanatical about maxing out my computers) but it has yet to arrive. I'll put it in the box as well for you to install or resell as you please.

Sorry, no digicam so I cannot photograph it, but just look at any picture of a new T40 and that is what this looks like. YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPPOINTED in the condition of this beautiful T40.

Looking for $300

I know, all I can hope for is that PayPal resolves my issue soon so I can get some money back...doubt I'll have that done before you sell yours though :S
