Brand New still sealed in box T61. Specs are.....

T7300(2GHz), 2GB RAM, 160GB 5400rpm HD, 14.1in 1440x900 LCD, 128MB nVIDIA Quadro NVS 140M, CDRW/DVDRW, Intel 802.11agn, Bluetooth, Modem, 1Gb Ethernet, UltraNav, Secure chip, Fingerprint reader, Intel Turbo Memory, 6c Li-Ion, WinVista Ultimate.

Warranty is less than 3 months expired. I can get exact warranty date if interested.

I am looking for $1200. Price negotiable. Shipping not included.

Honestly guys. Too much money or just no one interested?

Ordinarily we don't condone 'comment' on pricing in this forum, but since you asked - It's an 'ok' price if it has 3 years warranty. Right now at Lenovo.com you can get a brand new T61 widescreen configured exactly the same, but with the newer Penryn CPU and 3 years warranty for @ $1400. Plus if you use ecoupons you can possibly get another 10% off. Next holiday sale even more. So basically $1200 is close to what its worth, but your offer is not an exceptional deal. Folks here are looking for 'exceptional' deals, otherwise they'd just order from Lenovo directly.

Well that is actually not true.

The same laptop right now with discount is $1543.25. Very close to what was paid for the laptop originally. So I do consider the $1200 a very good deal but I guess it is not enough for this forum. I have noticed also that most people buy used here and not brand new.

I appreciate the thoughts though.


I will leave the laptop here for a few more days then remove.
