I'm looking for some 128MB or larger SODIMMs to upgrade some old Thinkpad 600-class machines. I have one DaneElec 128MB which I'd like to match if possible, and I'd need two others besides -- or, 4 of >128MB in matched pairs.

I have some new IBM server memory (512MB PC2-5300 FBDs) which I could offer in trade if you're interested. Willing to pay cash, too, but I can get 128MB modules off eBay for ~$20 each, so not willing to go much higher than that.

PM me with offers/details.

Just an F.Y.I. and based on my experience with a 2645-51U.

Assuming your machine is a 600 (not E or X) you can get away with a PC100/133 256mb low density chip in the "front" slot but the rear (closest to the CMOS battery) has to be PC66 to be read at 100%.

A low density PC100/133 will only read at 50% in this slot(128 at 64 and 256 at 128) so the practical max RAM is 416.

There are supposed to be 256MB PC66 chips but I have never found one for sale.
