^ those are always odd questions to get... i wouldn't sell it broken. the drive has no issues, recovery sector intact etc. it's sitting in my gf's car this second but i'll have the numbers etc from it later.

Not really that odd. Even working drives can have bad sectors, or make unusual noises.

Did you come to this conclusion after scanning the drive with a diagnostic program?
Microsoft Surface 3 (Atom x7-Z8700 / 4GB / 128GB / LTE)
Dell OptiPlex 9010 SFF (Core i3-3220 / 8GB / 8TB); HP 8300 Elite minitower (Core i7-3770 / 16GB / 9.25TB)
Acer T272HUL; Crossover 404K; Dell 3008WFP, U2715H, U2711, P2416D; Monoprice 10734; QNIX QHD2410R; Seiki Pro SM40UNP

i came to this conclusion after i never had any issues with it in th tablet pc it was in.now that the screen on the tablet is broken i can't run diagnostics unless i put the drive in my x40 which has a completely different driver set etc. i will of course warranty the drive against major defects. and i will also trade the drive for an 8cell x4x battery.

but that actually leads me to a question. does selling the drive with recovery partition intact violate anything in terms of the copy of windows being in there? (not trying to break the law)

Since a vast majority of the machines that can utilize this drive were sold with a XP COA, I would imagine you're in the clear.

Is it still available? Would be interested, if shipping to Europe is possible.

i've never shipped internationally but i wouldn't be opposed to it as long as you pay the extra shipping cost.bttt
