WTB/LF: Dothan 1.8 400Mhz - SL7EN, 1GB PC 2700 RAM

#1 Post by kajencik » Fri Mar 14, 2008 5:04 am

Does anybody has this or know where to get it? The price should be about $70 for the CPU and preferably less than $40 for the RAM, both shipped to Europe. I prefer buying from a fellow forum member, much rather than ebay.

Updated 20.4.2008:
So it's time to attempt my R50p upgrade again and move some memory to my R40, I've seen quite many ebay offers, but I'm always trying to get the best deal :) I'm looking for dothan 1,8 and 1GB RAM stick, as the subject says.

1GB of DDR1 for less than $40 is going to be rather difficult. I saw this RAM in a local Microcenter for $39.99 but that's after a $20 rebate. Otherwise, even used ones tend to be closer to $50.

I have a Dothan 1.4 Ghz that's part of the X40 MB.

akao, the CPU is soldered onto the systemboard on an X40. It can't be removed easily.
