Hey

Trying to find a T60 15" (non widescreen) chasis. It can be a broken T60, LCD can be cracked, nothing can work, its ok! =) I just need the full frame so I can put in my own motherboard, hd, lcd, etc.

Thanks!

assuming you bought a 14.1" T61 as a donor you can use the leftovers from both systems to build a second thinkpad and recover some of your funds.   that's what i was going to do anyway. ;)

Well I just ordered a 14.1 T61 which comes tomorrow (shipped 2 weeks before it said it would =) ) .. so thats my T61. I have a T41 which I Just got a CPU upgrade and an ATI Fire gl 128mb board. So once thats fixed up, I'll just have a loose Ati 9000 32mb board. I was originally going to use the fire with the 15" flex but then learned more, so I am using the 15" with the T60 which I have a motherboard supplier ready to get me whichever one I need, its just now I am not sure which graphics to get. I was bout to check forums to see which is the most balanced graphics on the t60(between looking great and hogging power/heat)

I just noticted all the motherboard variations in the parts list.. this is an ightmare! I guess the chasis needs to match which motherboard and wireless card i get because of antennas too right?
