Would you ship to the Netherlands? If so, I would definitely be interested.

Couple of questions to Seller and others.
- People who have used a 14" SXGA+ and a 12" SXGA+. Please share your experience.
(PS: I like high resolutions so the SXGA+ is a must. the question is one of using a 14" v/s a 12" on a daily basis as a primary computer)
- Does this seem like a fair price?
- If I was to purchase from this seller (who is a month old to forum) how would I / should I transact with them for safety?
- Why did the other folks not buy it yet? Was it a price issue or something else?

crashburn...
This was an excellent price IMHO, and it sold on fleabay immediately...check the link...
Not that many people buy tablets, hence the hesitation, but if I needed one (which I by no means do) I would've jumped on this in a split second.
For a 14" vs. 12" SXGA+ comparison I guess you'd need to start another thread, because this one will be locked sometime very soon...
And, seller has an excellent and verifiable eBay feedback so I would've bought this from him in a heartbeat...no questions asked.

He still has it. The e-bay thing seems staged
Question is... how should I transact if at all I decide to close on this.. with my fractured hand

How can you tell it's staged?

Don't think there is a safe way, unless someone does an escrow for you. Buying high dollar items is a risk you have to accept, if it goes bad you have to accept that. There are a lot of us here who try to help when deals go south but we're limited in that capacity too. I would not buy anything over a $1000 from someone I hadn't known here for a while.

I believe you're wrong. The listing has involved immediate payment via PayPal for Buy It Now option. I've been watching it closely.
If you were to pay by
credit card backed PayPal, there's nothing to worry about.

Because I PMed him after the auction had closed and he responded. He still HAS IT.

OK, so pay him via CC-backed PayPal and enjoy...

I haven't read this thread in a few days and I see there are questions regarding the authenticity of my sale. So here are the facts...
I listed it on eBay with a buy it now price of $1599. Someone purchased it about 24 hours later. The buyer was from Korea and wanted it shipped to an unconfirmed address in Los Angeles. Needless to say that was too risky for me so I refunded their payment and we did a mutual sale cancelation thru eBay. I then re-listed the tablet in a new auction.
Crashnburn - I responded to you that if you wanted the tablet you were welcome to bid on the new auction. I won't circumvent or cancel the currently running auction because that is the wrong thing to do once it has been re-listed.
I have 688 positive reviews on eBay and have been selling there since 1998. I am an IT Project Manager for a major company (
http://www.emc.com). If you have any concerns about bidding you can send me a PM and I will provide you with my EMC email address and corporate phone number....

Not accusing you. Just 'typical concern' since you were new to the forum. I'll PM you this weekend.
