LF: IBM Thinkpad S31 (In Canada)

I am looking for IBM Thinkpad S31 or S30.

I prefer S31 to S30. (Just because of model indicate logo)

If someone has it in Canada and want to sell it, I want to buy it.

Especially, Ontario would be fine.

want wireless integrated.

I believe they have the same specs including processor and RAM. The only difference is the S31 has a COA for Win XP. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

you might as well just say that you're looking for an s30/s31 with certain specs.   they're already hard to find so limiting your search even further would be silly.

they all have PIII/667 processors with 128MB memory soldered onto the planar.   after that you have a choice of internet buttons (iSeries s30), top cover finish (thinkpad black or mirage black), and either 802.11b wifi or 10/100 ethernet + firewire 400.

i posted a model matrix that i've compiled in this thread.   it's not complete but you'll get a good idea of options from it.

Not to be picky but S30s have 600MHz CPU, not 667. Not sure about S31.

To OP: these machines are very difficult to obtain on this continent and they command a premium price for a system of such age and power. Good luck, you'll need it.

that's my mistake -- i'm just too used to typing "667" because of memory speeds. :oops:
