FS (3) X31's with CDRW/DVD media slices;;;; All Sold

#1 Post by fkelly » Sat Mar 29, 2008 6:20 pm

I have just come across (3) X31's. I just sold a 4th locally and it went for a higher price.
But for these next (3) I am able to drop the price to $375 per. One of these has been sold.....(1) left, also one extended battery is sold.

The stats are

1.6 processor

30gb/4200 RPM hard-drive

512 memory

12.1 XGA(1024x768) TFT LCD,

Intel PRO 802.11a/bg wireless

The machines are 7/8 out of 10, with no dings, or cracks and as one person asked, the LCD's are in perfect condition.

I can possibly upgrade the hard drives and memory but be aware that will drive the sale price up. I also have 2 extended batteries that can be added.

I do not have pics available........

Pls PM if interested or I prefer emailing at fkelly@carolina.rr.com.

Hey Syedi it was just 3 months ago and I was begging for an X31 now here I sit with them coming out the ears........Such is life.

It seems like I am selling more of these locally then on the forum.

I have (1) X31 left but could probably pick up a few more. Don't know when the supply will run out, but a few of my friends are happy campers.

The specs posted above will clearly meet the needs of anyone who is just e-mailing and browsing the internet. This is a perfect grab and go and carry with you most of the time.
What makes this a great machine is that if you supercharge this puppy you have quite a laptop.
To supercharge add 1 7200 RPM harddrive and at least 1 gig memory and you can do whatever you need....

I'm not a graphics heavy person, so not sure what upgrades are available there.

These seem like excellent buys with decent specs and a good price.

Keep it up and one day I might pick one up myself!

actually I am going to pick up 1 or 2 myself and when I stumble across a bargain or two with memory and a 7200 hard drive I will upgrade and sit on them........

I always chuckle when I hear folk talk about the "old outdated" models, (T4x series or the X3 series), because my X31 is as strong a performer as my brand new Dell D430 work laptop. Much nicer to type on my ole X31.

Frank, as they say "when it rains..." :) Good luck with the sales.

Anyone considering buying an X31 at this excellent price from Frank should be assured that they are dealing with one of the nicest and most honest people I have come across - this statement is from personal experience.

I second this wholeheartedly, and from personal experience. I've dealt with Frank on several occasions and he is a very fine gentleman indeed.
