i have an atheros a/b/g mini-PCI express card for sale that i bought brand new about a month ago to use with my X300.   well, it doesn't work with the X300 because of an 1802 error and i don't feel like hacking my BIOS to make it work.

condition is like-new and it will ship in its original anti-static bag.   the card does work as confirmed on my X61.   it's compatible with the R60, R60e, R61, R61e, R61i, Z61e, Z61m, Z61p, Z61t, X60, X60s, X61, X61s, X60 Tablet, X61 Tablet, T60, T60p, T61, and T61p.

Erik - I have a new T61p. I don't have it with me, and the invoice details are not clear. Invoice says:
For expansion - PC Card and Express card slots
For WiFi Wireless LAN adapter - TP 11a/b/g MOW

Wireless is not working. Last night, I uninstalled Access Connections and tried Vista Wireless. No luck. I tried a neighbour's unsecured wireless with and without Access Connections and that worked. WPA/PSK does not work (yes - I checked the settings, and my XP machine connects).

I called IBM support (twice) and they say to replace the card. I can do that under warranty.

On the other hand, a spare card could assist me with troubleshooting.

Is the card you are offering a drop-in replacement? Is it a user replaceable part? I have not yet dismantled my T61p (as I have done so on my T41).

It the card is for my T61, I will buy it. Thanks, ... JDH
