Here are the details as to why I'm selling:

This was in perfect working order and one day the operating system couldn't load. I was at a strange "dos style" prompt, which looked like it was searching for DHCP (which I found strange). Tried restarting, and the next thing I knew there was nothing on the screen.

Usually, this runs pretty quiet but I thought I didn't hear the HDD initializing properly. Quickly ruled out a bad drive when I was able to back up my data using a external HDD enclosure. Tried new memory, backup battery and also tried unseating and reseating many cables (e.g. keyboard ribbon cable, LCD cable, etc...)

The unit definitely turns on, but nothing comes up on the screen and the keyboard doesn't seem to work either because I even tried turning the little keyboard light on (non-responsive). Can a problem with the keyboard cause the whole thing not to work?

I suspect there is either something wrong with the GPU or LCD, but can't be certain (my experience in working with these stops at dismantling the LCD, and I prefer not to go there). If anyone is interested in making an offer for this laptop, please feel free.

Thanks for your time and interest! Please let me know if you have any questions or feedback. Best offer gets the unit! Pictures will be available starting tonight (once I get home and take some). Cosmetically, this is in great shape as I treat my electronics too well.

Honestly, you should set some type of asking price as per forum rules...

And you may want to fix the model number, since it brings up the error on Lenovo's site...

Those are the specs. XP Pro is loaded from restore discs that were obtained from a helpful person on this forum. Please let me know if you have any more questions. Thanks!
