WTB: T23

I'm looking to buy a T23 right now, and I am willing to pay up to $200 shipped. Should be in fair to excellent condition, I don't care so much about the condition or specs as long as it's fully functional and doesn't have major damage like large cracks, or lines on the screen. My only condition is that it has internal wifi. Again, I don't care so much about the specs, it should have at least 256 mb ram, 20 gb hdd, a battery that lasts at least 30 min, and come with an ac adapter. I will also consider buying something without an hdd for a little less. Thanks.

I am guessing you might have a hard time finding a factory internal wireless and complete T23 in the <$200 range. Unless by internal you mean pcmcia card - which I doubt.
The ones with the antenna's in the lid and the actual windowed cover are the most desireable and rarest in the T2x community.
You might be able to find one with the antenna's mounted under the kbd in that range.
An easier to find option for a little more might be a T40 at the current depressed prices.

I could be wrong though, just my 2 cents, good luck in any case...

Edit: I am wrong ... There was 1 on ebay for 175 shipped , 2647-4nu , had a crack, line on screen, 10gb HD, sold as I was looking at it.

I was able to find one on ebay that matched almost exactly what I was looking for:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... T.m240.lVI

108.95 (t23) + 37 (40 gb 5400 hdd) + 11 (intel 2200 wifi) + 54.90 (kingston 512 mb pc133) + 2.00 (trackpoint caps) - 20.00 (sold extras) = 193.85 (out the door price).

So not bad I guess for a fully functional, internal wifi t23. The condition could be better, but I didn't want to limit my options. Plus I'm actually going to be using this laptop, rather than letting it rot in my hoard.

Good deal!
Out of interest, did the password problem mentioned in the auction turn out to be an issue? That may be what kept the auction bidding low.

ditkiss, all the mods are obliged to pull any information related to password hacking of any sort. It's nothing personal, just forum policy. Lots of stuff gets pulled.

Since when is the mere question...
Out of interest, did the password problem mentioned in the auction turn out to be an issue?
... a "discussion of password hacking"?

Jeez, guys... I can understand you citing the rules, but is that a reason to panic when you even see the word "password"?

Bob, the offending post was pulled and moved out of sight. Suffice it to say that there was a link presented which did exceed the forum rules and was therefore yanked. And no, I was not the one that moved it off-line.
