I've got a couple of R5x machines that I'm working on with a few KB problems and need at least one parts keyboard to scavenge from. If anyone has something they are looking to get rid of please let me know how much you want shipped. I'm in Texas with a 75126 zip code.

Those two keyboards are slightly different. The R-series has 3 posts underneath .. the T4x has 4. I'm sure you don't care about that, but just wanted to mention it.
I have a T4x one I can part with. It looks like it had something spilled on it and I don't want to try to clean it up. I'll send it to you for $12 shipped via USPS. I also have a good R5x keyboard I don't want. I don't know the going price of keyboards nowadays but would sell it .. make me an offer.
Sincerely
Bob

Are you really, completely sure about this statement? The reason why I ask is that according to the thread:
So... 14.1" (R5x/T4x) keyboards are only for 14.1" ThinkPads, and 15" (R5x/T4x) keyboards are only for 15" ThinkPads.

Ooops .. Thanks for pointing that out to me Johan. You are right - I apologize. Well, now I know I have a 15" keyboard to sell someday. Thanks.

Furthermore, for rebuilders of keyboards, there were at least three (but I believe only three) different types of keys for these keyboards.
You can use any keyboard from any T4x or T5x (and maybe some X3x machines) to harvest keys, but you have to know which key model you need. You can not swap between key models, as the connectors and mechanisms differ.
