After much consideration, I decided to part with my beloved T42. It is in excellent condition with zero dead pixel. Here are the specs:
T42 2378-FVU (purchased 7/14/2004, warranty expired)
Pentium M 735 1.7GHz 2MBL2 400MHz FSB
14.1" SXGA+ with Radeon 9600 64MB
2GB PC2700 RAM (Crucial 1GB x2)
60GB 7200rpm HDD (Hitachi 7K60)
DVD/CDRW combo drive (warranty replaced last year)
Intel 1000MT Gigabit LAN + 2200BG Wireless LAN
Non-BT CDC with BT antenna installed (according to HMM)
6-cell battery (46.79 Wh full / 51.84 Wh design, 29 cycles)
9-cell battery (55.75 Wh full / 71.28 Wh design, 43 cycles)
Travel blank for Ultrabay Slim
Windows XP Professional CoA
Original IBM leather (probably faux) messenger carrying case
Laptop will be shipped with zero'ed HDD for privacy. You get to install the OS of your choice, or use the included burned media to install Windows XP Pro SP2 using the CD-key on the CoA.
You will also get whatever documentation the laptop came with (except the recovery media which I trashed by mistake). I did burn the IBMTOOLS folder into a CD back then, so you can install any preinstalled software from it.
I am asking for $500 + shipping. Non-cc PayPal accepted for 3% fee.
I have uploaded some pictures to ImageShack as follows:
