Sold: Like New x61, 3-year protection, (IMG)

Up for sale is my lightly used thinkpad X61. I purchased the machine in September for school purposes, but have found it to be a bit too small for my uses. The machine is in like new condition, which you can judge from the linked hi-res photos. There is one blemish on the display, that being a barely visible “half dead” pixel. It’s not quite fully dead, but it is about “half” as bright as the pixels around it. There is an included hi-res shot of this “blemish,” and the picture really does do it justice – it’s invisible unless you’re looking for it. Note that the machine shipped in this condition and that it is not an owner-inflicted damage, so this could probably be fixed by IBM if the purchaser presses the matter. Other than that there are no flaws, and it is in mint condition.

• 2.0ghz Core 2 Duo T7300 processor
• 2 GB (2x1GB) PC2 5300 RAM
• “GoLan” WLAN Adapter Card (FRU Part #42T0853)
• 120GB 5200rpm HDD
• 12.1’’ XGA (Samsung) LCD (FRU Part # 13N7096)
• 8 cell cylindrical battery, cycled 31 times. Still retains 99% of charge.
• Integrated Bluetooth PAN
• Vista Home Basic
Warranty:
This x61 is under warranty until September 7, 2010, which includes the accidental damage plan “Thinkpad Protection Service.” This covers any kind of unintentional damage but theft iirc:
“This product has a three year limited warranty which includes a ThinkPlus warranty upgrade. This product is entitled to parts and labor and is entitled to EZServ. This machine is also entitled to the Thinkpad Protection Service. Customers may call the PC HelpCenter for more information.”

I will also throw in a 12.1’’ Shinza Sleeve that fits the machine perfectly at this price. I also have a quality Phillips 48x external DVD burner available for $20 + shipping.
I will restore the machine to its factory default settings and ship it with all manuals/original parts intact. You will receive everything but the original box (sorry, girlfriend got it when I wasn’t looking).
In terms of references, my ebay feedback is visible under “Adriode.” I have also had a transaction here with Carbon_Unit about two years ago that he might testify to.
