A A31 in decent condition, it has a few minor scuffs and a bit of dust here and there, but it's pretty clean as far as used laptops go. It's been running almost perpetually for the last few months, with no real issues except the lack of USB ports...

I'm considering selling it to buy a newer laptop, probably a T42 maybe a T60...

It seems someone removed the plastic insulator of the USB ports (by accident?) it was like this when I received it, while both ports are lacking the plastic insulator one still has it's pins in a straight postion while the other port seems to have the pins disarrayed and disfigured

Attempting to use the USB port causes the machine to short out for a minute before it'll turn back on, because of this I have only tried using them twice and I don't continue trying. If you can replace the USB port, this would be a completely funtional laptop. As it is, it can be a completly funtional laptop for anyone who dosen't need USB ports.

Battery is still decent, I'm not sure exactly how long it runs but I would guess close to an forty minutes-hour, possibly a bit more depending on use. I wouldn't suggest using it for extended car trips (I have an AC Inverter for this purpose), but it generally works fine for unplugging it for a few minutes to show something on the internet or whatnot.

Keyboard is in good condition, it has some dust which may need to be cleaned out (which will hopefully be resolved if I can find an air spray can), but all the keys work and the coating hasn't been worn off on any of them.

Screen is good with no dead pixels.

No known cracks of any kind. There could possibly be one somewhere, but I highly doubt it. I have not found one to date and I use this laptop daily..

The power brick needs to be replaced, I'll throw it in if someone really needs it but it would be better to use your own. A piece of the plastic insulator in the connector chipped out and the outer metal tubing has cracked. It works perfectly, except it tends to have a weak connection and easily comes out, which is a nusiance when you have to fish behind your desk for a power connector. In addition to which, I suspect the crack will grow over time resulting in a entirely worthless brick...

I'll post pictures later if I can, feel free to ask questions..

-Pentium 4 1.9Ghz
-512mb RAM (One 256mb PC2100 Stick with an IBM label, one 256mb PC2100 Stick with a Crucial label)
-802.11b Intergrated Wi-Fi
-Year old Samsung 5400RPM/40GB harddrive. It's virtually silent due to either it's age or model.
-DVD/CD Drive
-16mb ATI 7500
-56k Modem
-10/100 Ethernet
-Working Battery
-No USB ports

Any ideas on it's worth?

Depending on details of physical condition, $175-200 IMO.
