Looking to upgrade my brothers T21 to the highest specs that it can take to give him a little respite till I get him a new laptop.

So I guess I would be looking to get a few parts.

1) 1.0GHz 100fsb P3-M
2) 2 x 256mb so-dimm sd-ram 100
3) the larger heatsink from the T22/T23 (will research as to which one works with the T21 Chassis)

For the record, the processor you need is a SL53S. They can be had for about $30 shipped on eBay, but with patience, you might be able to get one cheaper...

I successfully upgraded my uncle's T21 with SL5TF and T22 heatsink. I think there are a couple of other CPUs that will work as well. Just search the forum.
