I'm looking to purchase older Thinkpads in the ~$500 range.
Thinkpads.com is great but obviously isn't geared for sales selection and I'm trying to stay away from Ebay.
Can anyone recommend a site?
Thanks.

there is no $$ in used computers..
and, due to the speed of innovation, not even in thinkpads..
i sell what i can sell, fast, not sit and look at until they are antiques..
(no matter how enticing that would be)
i offer this confrence for users to buy and sell used thinkpads..
and i see that you are using it..
<FURTHER EDIT: i apologise if i came off surly, this forum IS here for past, present and future thinkpad owners..

I wasen't merely using this forum to find info to buy & sell ThinkPads to make money.
I'm interested in purchasing an X2*, and A2* or T2* ThinkPad. Just 2 of them for my own use. I'm not looking to make money. I wanted to find a good resource to start comparing prices. I won't be buying for a few months.
Check out my POST in section:
IBM sold the PC Division..! called "IBM = Quality Support?"
You'll see I'm also here to offer my thoughts on a product that I enjoy.
I made this post as a guest named Iceman just prior to registering.
I hope to contribute many valuable articles over time.

These guys sell used Thinkpads (along with other used & refurbished notebooks):
http://www.compgeeks.com/products.asp?cat=NBB I've only purchased parts from these guys, not systems.
The Thinkpads go pretty quick, so if you don't see one you like one day, the next day there may be something.
Hope I'm OK posting this link to a commerical site. If not please feel free to edit/remove.

try ibm's
certified used notebooks department. inventory changes often, prices are very cometitive, and they offer a 7-day no-questions-asked return policy.
