Interested? Give me an offer, we'll negotiate.
I am new to these forums. I understand that you guys might be weary of buying from a brand new member, but hear me out. I'm very active on the AnandTech forums and I'm also selling my laptop there. Someone suggested I give this forum a shot, so that's how I ended up here. I'm not a random person trying to rip someone off.
On request, I could take more pictures with forums.thinkpads.com on the laptop screen to prove that this is real.
My heatware feedback is flawless, so don't worry about a thing. Click here to see my heatware: http://heatware.com/eval.php?id=4897
Here are the specs:
IBM T61 Laptop:
Santa Rosa Platform (Intel Centrino Pro)
CPU: Core2Duo T7300 (2 ghz, 4 mb cache)
Memory: 2 gb DDR-667
Hard Drive: 100 gb, 7200 RPM
Video: NVIDIA Quadro NVS 140m
Screen: High resolution model - 1440x900, 14 inch widescreen.
Security: Biometric scanner (fingerprint) with hardware coprocessor, intel matrix storage encryption, and all that stuff.
Optical drive: Dual layer DVD burner (hotswappable through Ultrabay)
Batteries: 7 cell (extended) main battery + hotswappable Ultrabay battery (combine them for uber long battery life)
Networking: Wifi A/B/G/N, bluetooth, gigabit ethernet, and dial up modem.
Expansion: ExpressCard 54 and PCMCIA Cardbus slots (both)
Accessories: *Docking station* and wall charger.
Background: I'm the original owner. There is still a remaining warranty, although only about a month left (this can be extended). I've never had a single problem with it - it has served me well in school. I've used it primarily for programming and SOME music composition. It's in mint condition - never been dropped or anything of that sort. The LCD hinges are nice and tight, etc. None of the buttons are worn out, including the mouse buttons and keyboard buttons. I really do love this machine - hate to see it go... but I must.
$1100 or best offer.
I'll be happy to answer any questions. Bumps are appreciated!
*all offers will be entertained! Contact me.*
