Don't think so - your laptop runs on a 533MHz (4x133) FSB and not at 400Mhz (4x100) FSB like the Banias core cpu.

According to the thread:
What R52's have the 533FSB ?, in his post of Sun Dec 23, 2007 12:42 am, dr_st wrote:All R52 models with a Celeron M have the 910GML chipset @400MHz bus.

All R52 models with a Pentium M have the 915GM/PM chipset @533MHz bus.
and then, according to the thread:
R52 Celeron to Pentium M CPU upgrade is possible!, in his post of Fri Nov 10, 2006 3:42 am, underclocker wrote:I picked up an R52 with Celeron 1.3. The upgrade to a Dothan 725A 1.6GHz CPU was quick and works perfectly. CPU-Z shows the voltage adjustments are correct and SpeedStep is working properly.

Note: The CPU I used was a 400MHz bus Dothan. I do not have a 533MHz bus Dothan to test with at this time, but would like to find out if those are properly set up by the BIOS. When I get one, I will test.
which seems to indicate that this 400 MHz FSB Banias will work in the Celeron-R52.

Wow ^ didnt know that - I figured that as soon as you pop in a Pentium Mobile it would increase the clock to 133.

It will work. I remember Kyocera doing it on one of his R52 machines.

Good memory in your system (and still running at good speed!), George :-) - I guess it could be the one mentioned in the thread:

The above description is from the Lenovo product page, however, I have done some upgrades:

Pentium M 1.6 GHz
