FS: IBM Thinkpad Transnote Tablet

For sale.

IBm Thinkpad Transnote Tablet notebook. (p3 700, 256mb ram.)

Everything works except for the bios/board which doesnt take the computer beyond its bootup page.

Called IBM last january 08, and they said that it would probably be a faulty bios or board which costs around 50-90$ on eboy.

Other than that, Lappy is in excellnet condition, screen works great, swivel action is perky, and unique writing pad works nicely (prior to the board failure) Lappy folds up nicely into a portfolio.

Does not come with AC adapter as adapter wires were chewed on by pet hamster. (he died)

Will throw in a free Thinkpad 500C (P3 500mhz) with a busted screen with the transnote.


Asking 250$ plus shipping for the 2 notebooks. Will take offers too.

I don't have references here, but have tons of refs on photography forums trading more than 50k of equipment in the past 5 years. (eboy, Fredmiranda, photo.net, etc)
