After getting tired of synchronizing data between different type hard drives and carrying around two different power adapters and on occasion carrying the wrong one on travels, I am putting the ThinkPad X31 that I had been using myself up for sale and moving to an X60.

Type: 2672-MU9

Original description: P M 1.7GHz, 1GB RAM, 40GB 4200rpm HDD, 12.1 XGA(1024x768) TFT LCD, 16MB ATI Radeon M6, Wireless upgradeable(MPCI), Modem(CDC), 1Gb Ethernet(LOM), Secure Chip, IEEE 1394, 6 cell Li-Ion battery, WinXP Pro

Upgrades:
RAM: 1.5GB (PC2700)
WiFi: Wireless 802.11abg
Hard drive: 60GB 7200RPM

Ultrabase with DVDRW (FRU 92P6575) optical drive is included.

Also, included is a new Extended battery that I bought from a fellow forum member but never got around using it.

Condition: The keyboard shows very little signs of usage. There are some superficial scratches on the top. There is about 1cm long crack on the left side of the bezel which doesn't effect the functionality in any way. 12.1" XGA LCD looks bright and crisp. X31 also supports PC2100 RAM but this machine has the faster PC2700 which makes a huge performance gain. The battery has 127 cycles and holds 2+ hour charge easily. The Windows XP Professional R&R partition is intact and usable.

Pictures available upon request.

$475 non-CC paypal/money order/personal check plus actual shipping to CONUS, Canada and Europe.

Hey Syed, Good Luck with this sale.....Isn't this one the twin brother of the one you sold me. If so, this is an excellent unit and mine (my wifes actually) is going strong.
Like you I am hooked on the smaller footprint of the X-series and will soon be selling my T40 for an X60......

My wife ain't letting go of her X31 for nothing........

Hi Frank, thanks. Yes, this is the twin brother to what you picked up from me a couple of months ago. I had been using it on and off along with a T60p and a T61p but every time I want to use it I have to synchronize it with the SATA drives in the T6xp's to get my data and mail profiles in the PATA drive from the X31. With a X60 I can just swap the hard drive (thanks Brad for the bigger faster drive) and bring along any of the laptops with me - just better manageable and more efficient logistics.

Good luck with your X60 search.

Would you be at all interested in trading it for a Z61t?
