Please be advised that this is an ex-IBM demo unit, so you'll be buying a piece of history apart from getting a great ThinkPad that this one is.

There is no factory warranty left on this machine.

Asking $535 OVNO plus reasonable shipping depending on your location. As most of you know, I ship worldwide and accept a variety of payment methods.

Feel free to PM me for high-resolution pictures, or with any questions/concerns that you might have.

I spoke to my family member who was looking for a Thinkpad but she told me now that she wants an Xseries unit. Ahh never ends!

But sweet unit AND deal! Flexiew is always king.

How long have you had the laptop, btw? Do normal T43s run as hot as the T43p units? I used to have a T43p and it was always sooo warm.

I have both T43 and T43p with same CPUs and almost identical configuration, and T43p is a lot warmer, fan runs constantly, but this has been attributed to V3200 GPU for the most part.

BTW, it's absolutely amazing to me how cooler 2.0 T43/p units run when compared to 2.13/2.26...having said that, they are miles away from the coolness of T42's 1.8...

If I were not expecting a long and nasty strike two months from now, this would never leave my house, for the sheer fact of being an ex-IBM test/demo unit, let alone the condition of it...

The constant fan on the T43p is what was its only downside, truthfully. But then again if you want a workstation GPU thats what you get.

Thanks for the info!
