Price dropped, I wasn't paying attention to market value. Asking $290 on eBay, 'will do $275 OBO here. I will also extend the warranty to 30days for Thinkpads.com members..

I didn't see a rule against eBay references, so below is the link (I am the item owner): http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0256449904
There are plenty of pictures there, but let me know if there are any additional ones you'de like to see.
I have no problem ending the auction early for a buyer here. Also the price is negotiable, and I would be willing to barter for some T61 compat. parts/accessories.

Up for grabs is an exceptional T20 with numerous accessories. It was my personal laptop (since around 2002-2003), and used in a clean laboratory environment. It has been meticulously cared for, as I do for all of my laptops/PCs. Please take the time to read through the below description because I think you’ll see this item is very different from the others out there. Here’s a quick rundown:
IBM FRU# 2647-ITU (you can check out all the nitty-gritty T20 general specifications at http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... IGR-4JRMN8)
Intel Mobile Pentium-III 700Mhz, with SpeedStep
384Mb RAM (genuine IBM 64Mb + 256Mb Crucial/Micron
Crucial is undoubtedly the most reliable memory manufacture out there: lifetime warranty.
13.3” XGA screen (1024x768).
Great screen with no dead pixels (pixel test run prior to sale!)
Hinges are super-tight and hold the screen great and any angle.
40Gb IBM HDD, 5400RPM, 8MB cache
Purchased 6/2006, still within factory 3year warranty!Ultrabay Drives:
6x-2.3x CD/DVD combo drive (registered within US region)
2.5” Ultrabay Hard-drive adaptor with 10.0Gb (original) hard drive installed (great for backups!)
1.44Mb Floppy drive
4400mAH LiON battery
Purchased 5/2006, holds good charge (2:45+ hrs with casual use)
Exercised frequently to ensure proper operation.
Extra ‘beater’ battery is included for long AC power use.
Travel AND full-power 72W AC adaptors included (these laptops are very picky about having a full 72W adaptor! How many other sellers will tell you this?!)
Ports:
USB, SVIDEO, LPT, RS232 (very hard to find anymore), XVGA, Modem, 10/100 Ethernet, PS2 mouse, Infrared, audio mic/line/out, PCMCIA (II/III)
Port replicator with the above ports + some.
BONUS: Free Linksys B/G PC card included if sale price exceeds original buy-it-now price.
This laptop has been given nothing short of a white-glove treatment prior to sale. Just for this sale, the keyboard was removed, dusted, and (literally) every key swapped with mild alcohol. Buy elsewhere and you're bound to get a 'personalized' laptop (with crumbs and oils on the keyboard. Yuck!). Every surface was wiped clean, and I even took a shot of the fan to show how little dust there is. I can assure you every effort has been taken to make this the cleanest, most reliable T20 on eBay.
This system has been maintained regularly, and it has given me back many hours of rock-solid performance. This laptop has literally been used almost every business day since my purchase. Some sellers may brag "lightly used" (by WHO though?), or "just off lease: so well cared for" (yeah right). I can brag this sytem has been burnt-in for years; this sytem is in its prime. Any problems with this system would have arose by now! Rest assured this system was cared for as a personal laptop, not a toss-away lease machine. Anyway, around mid 2006 I noticed that the hard-drive and fan were getting noisy, the battery wasn’t holding much of a charge, and it just needed a good one-over:
The entire system was disassembled (short of removing the system board from the case!), and every component dusted and cleaned in a static-free environment.
The original 10Gb hard-drive was replaced with a very speedy 40Gb, genuine IBM model. It’s whisper quiet, and runs much cooler. I can’t guarantee how long the original 10Gb will last, but when installed in the ultrabay it’s great for quick backups.
The original FAN and heatsink was removed and replaced with a brand new T23 (updated) version. The factory heat-sinc compound was removed and ThermalTake Silver used its place.
A 4.4AH battery was purchased. The original is included, which I used when the laptop sat for long periods of time on AC power.
I’m happy to provide FRUs for any of the parts/components. Receipts are also available for the items replaced/upgraded.
Known issues:
Small chip out of LCD bezel near the top: has no effect on performance or use.
Very small case crack on left side of keyboard (bareley noticeable). I carefully glued this many years ago and it hasn’t re-cracked since.
General scuff marks/scratches from general use; the marks on LCD lid are from a case strap.
LCD has VERY minor pressure marks. You will have a very hard time getting the right lighting/screen combination to even see them. They do not bother me at all, and I’m really risking even mentioning them. They are just due to general open/close lid and case flex. In my mind the screen is *perfect*, but I mention it to be fair.
Otherwise no known issues!
