How much for a big (20-80 gig) hard drive?

#1 Post by Bookworm » Wed May 28, 2008 9:14 pm

I'm going to need a *big* hard drive soon. Does anyone have a 20 gig for sale? How much? How much for an 80 gig? Or something in between?

one hitachi 40GB 5400rpm
one toshiba 40GB 5400rpm
you can either choose 1 of above at the cost of shipping only.

i also have one IBM/Hitachi 30GB 4200RPM but i won't give it out. i don't know what happened, maybe just my lucks. it's the drive that came with my T30 since the machine came out. everything was went well until i accidently dropped my machine (while running from 3nd story (of my university's undergrad hall) while looking for a "better signal" wifi -> broken lcd&bezel & some dings, the rest includes running hard drive above still working (T30 doesn't have hard drive protection yet). since then, it stays at my home as a torrent server downloading ebooks & animes (24/7 again). it's one of a legend. :P

i'm giving away my 40GB HDD for free. however, it's not totally free, i'm asking the recipient pays the shipping. if you can pre-order a shipping label with your address in both "from" & "to" and email to me. then I can shipping it out.

i have 1 hitachi and 1 toshiba, both 40 gb and 5400rpm. whoevers give me the shipping label first get to pick the choice. thanks & regards,
H.
