Curious - is it X61 only, or would it work for the T60 as well?
I'm not sure how these Recovery CDs work, I never received one with my T42 and the IBM site is difficult to navigate for information about this.

some i have heard are identical across models but i don't think that is the case for the majority of models. you can probably search for your model # and "product recovery" on lenovo.com to find the FRU and compare it with that for another model. i have burned recovery cds from my old T60 if you need.
