IF you culd go just a little more there is an IBM Certifed Used 237472U on IBM (and this used model comes with 512MB normaly only 256MB)
For $1151.10 right now and they have them in stock

There's always eBay. If IBM is selling them cheap you might just luck out.
Also have you contacted Bill yet? He may have used machines also, not sure.

I clicked that link and got a price of $1087.15. Also, if you go to the Mastercard IBM store (or Visa or whatever), the price is $1061.65 for the 237372U with warranty until September 2006.

Why don't you just wait for 5 or 6 months, so many ppl will be dumping their IBM TP's (just like Sony Clie's) you'll probably pick-up two T40's (one for a spare) for about a $100.00 :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

anyone know what it takes to get a Mastercard Business card? does it require a business :? ? If so, then that's a good deal down the drain.
