SOLD: High-End Thinkpad R40 SXGA+ 15" 2897GWU *PICS*

A Thinkpad I have kept in my archives for a great while is finally being put on the sale block. This is one of the more high end R40 models to be released with dedicated ATI video and the SXGA+ LCD screen. I have made many upgrades to the unit in addition to cleaning out the majority of its internals.
The laptop has been wiped and has Windows XP Pro reinstalled with all drivers and Windows updates. SP3 for XP is on the laptop, and BIOS/Embedded Controller are both latest and greatest versions. This laptop is READY TO USE upon receiving it.

Issues with unit:
(1) Battery holding clip that locks the battery in place does not extend so the battery is being held into the laptop with black electrical tape. WORKS QUITE WELL I must say and not very noticable.
(2) Right screen hinge has a crack that splits its base in half along the midline where the screws hold it to the laptop. Doesnt produce too much wiggle but can be felt when screen is being opened and closed.
(3) Back USB port on laptop is very loose but still works OK. Need to be careful when plugging things in.
(4) As mentioned battery is well used but still holds about 1.25hrs of life with LCD on full brightness - you can get around 1.75 hrs with brightness on halfway.
The condition of the laptop is good. The LCD has no major scratches besides a few usage scuffs, no dead pixels. The keyboard while shiny from use has all keys intact and very clean. The palmrest is noticeably used but no scratches and also has both XP/Intel stickers removed because they were very torn. The lid top of the unit has a few light scratches but nothing major and the bottom of the unit is very good.
The laptop is being sold in the continental USA only for $280 OBO plus minimal shipping via FEDEX GROUND INSURED. I accept PayPal or money order, and will only ship after payment is received and clears.
I have feedback on the post in the forums here from a few people and also have feedback under ebay and heatware under the same name, minc3d. My ebay is 100% feedback.
