SOLD: 30GB ATA hard drive pulled from a T40. Passed all manufacturer tests. Quiet, too.
FRU: 92P6036, Fujitsu 30GB 9.5mm 4200rpm, all IBM original labels still intact.

All ATA drives are IDE and all SATA drives are also IDE.
ATA and SATA are the connector type. IDE is the interface, basically the controller is integrated onto the drive assembly.
Prior to the newer SATA connector type, the terms ATA and IDE were used pretty much interchangeably. After SATA, ATA was sort of renamed PATA (serial vs. parallel), but some people (apparently, like me) still call the IDE drives with PATA connectors, ATA.
Anyway, this is a laptop drive for most laptops made before, let's say, 2006.
