It is a FlexView LCD.

All IBM/Lenovo Tablets have IPS FlexView LCDs.

Not to mention that this one is coming from one of the most knowledgeable and trustworthy members of this Forum...

Does it have the LENOVO logo or the IBM logo?

I believe all X60/X60s/X60T machines have the IBM logo. Heck, my X61T even has the IBM logo. I'm pretty sure they'd didn't switch over to all Lenovo logos until late summer last year, so some []61 series machines have IBM logos, whereas some have Lenovo ones.

It is sealed in the box. I would prefer not to unseal it to see which logo appears.

I paid less than ten dollars for IBM logos to replace my ThinkPad stickers. The operation took me two minutes.

What is the insane fascination people have with the old IBM logo? I know it has sentimental (and historical) value, but to me, the new logo seems much nicer and well designed than the older one. It's time to move on, people :)

FWIW, the new thinkpad logo on the X300 is very well done and lenovo should be complimented on it.. small red dot and all.. very elegant..

I noticed the changes to the Logo about a year ago when the logo on the USB UltraNav Keyboard and UltraNav Travel Keyboard were replaced from the IBM logo with just the ThinkPad.

FWIW the new logo just drops red blue green IBM and replaces the dot on the i with the red trackpoint dot.

The red trackpoint dot on the logo and the red trackpoint dot on the thinkvantage program icons are good as it means that the trackpoint stays and will be hopefully forever associated with the thinkpad line (see below)!

Interestingly the CNET review on the X300 talks how they kept the trackpoint on the new design while cleaning the lines on the machine.

I for one love the Trackpoint and wished all laptops had them! My staff unfortunately seems to favor the nav pad.
