FS: R51 - won't always boot, good for fixer/parts

#1 Post by civicmon » Sun Jun 22, 2008 7:53 pm

Hello,

I have an R51, about 2.5-3 years old won't boot. I think the root of the problem may be the RAM - I had 2 gigs with one gig added recently but afterwards it started acting weird.

Today, it booted and I went out and it hasn't booted right since. The monitor does work fine, the case has no cracks but the keyboard is missing one of those 'back' keys that I snapped off prying the keyboard off. I do have the actual backup CDs from IBM and the power cable.

I do not have many posts here, my ebay ID is civicmon and if one would like, I could throw it up on ebay and i'll take the small fees if one doesn't really want to trust me.

I'd like $150/shipped via paypal. I'm local to Philadelphia PA; I live in Delaware; 202/Naaman's Rd. I work near the KOP mall. I'll drop $20 and willing to drive ~25 miles from either location to meet in person. I'll let someone local play around with it. I can upload pics upon request.

Please feel free to PM me with any questions.
