Please don't take offense, but your asking price is unrealistic for a Pentium
ONE 266MHz machine with a 12.1" HPA (non-TFT) display.
You can find Thinkpad 600s for that price or less.

I have seen them sell on EBAY up to over 225.00 in the past year.. Thats why I asked for a reasonable offer. I am not trying to make a killing on the sale just want to get a resonable price that everyone involved is satisifed with. Thanks for your help and insight

I can only think that the unit that sold for that price was a PII with a TFT display, like
this one.
The fact that your machine is a P1 with an HPA display puts it in the $150 range max for a "reasonable" price. Sorry, but that's just how it is.

Thanks for the info!
In this case, I think I'll pass, since it's a Pentium I, and since it's not a TFT display.
But it does sound like a nice machine, especially with built in CD and floppy (which you can use at the same time), and a built in "sub-woofer"!
Good luck with your sale. I'm sure that for around $150 you will find a buyer.

I just picked up a Toshiba Satellite 335CDS which is identical in specifications to that 385XD for a bit over $100 with shipping on ebay, and it has a 56k modem and 10/100 NIC and a 4 gig hdd. The port replicator on yours is largely excess baggage. Nevertheless since yours is a Thinkpad I could see about $130 total with shipping. I can do paypal and you can check me out on ebay and yahoo as hwattys. Thanks.

Wanted to let everybody know I got this and it is as described works fine and was shipped very fast to me. FedEx Ground was next day delivery from PA to IN. A very pleasant experience. Thanks to Bill for setting up this virtual swap meet. and to Mark, the seller.
