Don't know if this is a good deal or not.
It has a 15" 4:3 screen, which people seem to prefer:

If the reserve is $500 or under, which I doubt, it is a fine deal.
Too bad it's not anything stronger than plain XGA...

Well, I just bid $400 on it, and it wasn't enough for the reserve...lol
Edit: Given the upgrades, I feel that if someone is buying for themselves, then it is worth about $600. However, if you are buying it for resale, i wouldn't go over $500...

Well, I just bid $525 on it, and it wasn't enough for the reserve...lol again! I won't go any higher.

The guy who put it up emailed me actually (I had bought another laptop from him a few months ago, but I don't know him personally).
He told me
The reserve price (which is hundreds less than the Buy It Now price) is pretty reasonable for all the extras I'm throwing in, I think.
My educated guess for the Reserve is ca. $650.-
The extras are not to be sneezed at, I think!

if it were sxga+ or UXGA it would be a deal..
but xga is, well, not so great..
for someone who does not care about the resolution it seems to be a fair deal..
