I have a 15" T42 for sale. Here are the specs from Lenovo:
IBM/Lenovo wrote:Product: ThinkPad T42 2379-DXU [change]

Operating system: All [change]

Original description: P M 735, 512MB RAM, 60GB 7200rpm HDD, 15 SXGA+(1400x1050)TFT LCD, 64MB ATI Radeon 9600, 24x24x24x/8x CD-RW/DVD, Intel 802.11b/g wireless(MPCI), Modem(CDC), 1Gb Ethernet(LOM), UltraNav, Secure Chip, 6 cell Li-Ion battery, WinXP Pro
Upgrades are as follows:

512mb ram -> 1GB (2x512mb)
60gb 7200rpm -> 80gb 5400rpm

The original CCFL in the LCD was dead in this unit when I got it, and jamiphar replaced the CCFL for me. (Thanks James) So, now the LCD is nice and bright.

The only downfall is that there is one blue pixel (not sure if that means stuck or dead) that can be seen ONLY on a black background. I ran pixel buddy and could only see it on the black screen. I have yet to see any white spots on the screen.

The battery is in the "green" and has 82 cycles.

Overall condition is 9/10.

I am looking to get $475 shipped (regular USPS mail) for this unit. Shipping outside the US might be possible, depending upon who the member is, and their longevity with the forum. EDIT: Price reduced one time only to $450 shipped

The only reason that I am selling this is because I have a chance to pick up a 1982 Yamaha Exciter REALLY cheap...

Very nice FlexView model - I had this model prior to my T60 and I loved it. In fact, my friend that bought it is loving it now! Good luck with sale.

Here's a link to a nice looking motorcycle version of the Exciter that's for sale, less than some TP models, too!
