You've left out a couple of very important details...

a) Overall condition, especially LCD
b) Warranty status.

Let us know and we'll take it from there...

IBM warranty to 6/25/2009
LCD has no dead pixels and is still very bright!

Keys have some shine from normal use but all else looks good.

Any other details that will help?
thanks

You're in $500-550 range if the machine is really nice...sounds like a fine ThinkPad...

My $0.02 only...

Best of luck with the sale.

George, it turns out this machine still has almost one more year of warranty, and the screen is Flexview. So, it's probably worth $500 to $550.

nctalkinghead, is this T43 the one in your signature? If it is, why would you rather keep the T42?

Because I'm dumb, I guess :D I was using the T42 for my work with a docking station and the wife uses the T43 (which I bought a couple of years ago at a very good price) to check her email and do some web surfing.

I tried to sell the T42 - with no warranty - and docking station but had no success either on CL or this forum. Someone finally made an offer on the T42 but needed a high res screen which is on the T43.

I just need to sell one or the other, since either will work for my wife's limited computer use. If I let the T43 go, I want to be sure that I get a fair price for it.

I'd say $500-$550, too. It has very nice spec's, 2.0GHz, DVDR, Flexview, warranty, etc.

I have decided to sell this TP43 on the forum and have listed it in another thread. Thanks to all who offered advice - and encouragement! Mods can close this thread.

Thanks.
