I recently acquired another x40. Looking for a couple of things for it.

1. Ultrabase. I would prefer some sort of optical drive, condition of base itself doesn't matter too much as long as it works.

2. US keyboard since this one has a German keyboard, I'd like to swap them.

I can do a paypal transaction and/or trade for some Thinkpad and/or laptop parts. Have a bunch of T2x things including a decent screen as well as an x31 base with keyboard (dead mobo) and other stuff. Basically very open to any combination.

This will need to be shipped to MA, USA.

there's a posting on craigslist for this stuff, i think the seller is out of MIT.

i thought about getting it myself (i'm in natick, on business), but then i realized that i really don't need the ultra base functionality very often, especially since i'm on the go very often and i do have a usb optical drive at home to load the os.

That would be the guy I bought the X40 from. He sold the ultrabase before I bought the rest of the system.

So still looking for those 2 parts.

Bumpity again. Nobody has a used X40 keyboard they are willing to sell or trade?
