WTS - X41

Time to sell one of my X41's. The machine is in excellent working condition with only normal shine on the keys and absolutely no major nicks or scratches etc. on the case or screen. I would rate it an 8 / 10 cosmetically except for a couple pixels that seem to stick on and off...one looks to me to be about 2 pixels in size and the other 1 pixel...both are about 1 inch up from the bottom of the screen. They have been doing this for a year now and I don't really ever notice it so never bothered to worry about it as they are really small. Seemed like it occured after an update I did from Lenovo's site actually.

Operationally, it works perfectly and I have never had any problems with it of any kind..in fact I have never even had to reload XP (the factory partition is still as it came new).

This unit had a 3 year ez service warranty which expires on 7/25/08 so 10 days left.

Intel Pentium M 1.5 proc
1.5 megs ram
60 GB HD
Win XP Pro
Bluetooth
Fingerprint Scanner

I think I still have the original packaging in storage but no guarantees.

Would like to get $400 obo for it.

You might want to try to call in the LCD. I've had good luck with IBM replacing X4x LCDs. With only 10 days of warranty left, there is a good chance the next owner won't have this chance.

Worst case scenario is that they say no.

Wound up being out of the country for an extra couple of days and am not yet back at my office. I am due back in on July 24th...will call them and see if they will still take it. Kind of surprising they would repair such a small thing but will give it a try.
