WTB: HDD Caddy with the rail system for T61 & X61 Tablet.

So, all I would need as a 2.5" SATA HDD and I could swap it with my primary drive.

Since I have a 320G 5400 RPM WD Drive Lying around that I want to use for Experimental Processing.

Is this legit? Why does it say PATA?

Ebay including shipping for 15$ approx.

Are the T61 & X61 Tablet HDDs PATA or SATA?

The ebay auction you linked to doesn't say PATA (anymore), maybe he changed the description.

I recently replaced the hard drive in my T60p and the caddy/rails that were there originally look very similar to the one in that auction.

The internal T61 HDDs are SATA. However, you can use a PATA drive in the appropriate 2nd HD ultraybay adapter (the same that is available for the T4x) in addition to the internal drive.

I think I made a mistake reading "PATA" somewhere else.

Can the T61 and X61T use the same SATA HDD Caddy in the default HDD space?
