Hello Bill,
Hello TP-friends & followers again.
I 'm going to rebuild two A31P for my daughters (twins) and to repair (screen) my own one. Up to now they have tested the exceptional qualities of an Asus P5a Super7 Mainboard with AMD-K-6-III, 512MB/Nvidia TNT, but after more then ten Years (Ausus, AMD:designed in the 90ties) their pcs technical and functional life is fading away...
So I'm looking for some spare parts (IBM seems not to sell them anymore):
- 2 LCD-Inverter for UXGA-Displays (26P8133 !),
- several sets of screws etc (misc), as I'll have to take down several machines to arrive at two functional ones and I should like the screws to stay put where they should,
- 2 of the stronger cooling fans (2GB), as the machines will run CPUs with 2,5 Ghz,
- 1 or 2 systemboards (26P8399, especially 26P8430), as I should like to have a backup when starting the rebuild.
Thanks in advance for any offer or advice available
Happy trails
