I have a Thinkpad X40 in great condition. This laptop was part of a lot of laptops I purchased from a government surplus auction. It looks like this was an unclaimed laptop from TSA's lost and found. I can provide receipts if necessary.

Here are the specs:

Model: 2371-6EJ
Processor: Intel Pentium M 1.2GHz LV
RAM: 768 MB (upgraded from 256)
HDD: 40GB
Graphics: Intel Extreme Graphics II
Screen: 12.1" XGA (1024x768)
OS: Windows XP
Drives: None
Ports: VGA, 2x USB, modem, ethernet, SD-card, PCMCIA, microphone, headphone, docking connector
Misc: Includes 4-cell Li-ion battery, not the 8-cell battery

The condition is clean, with no scratches or dents. The screen is bright with no dead pixes. The hard drive has been reformatted and has a clean install of Windows XP SP2 using the CD-Key on the bottom of the laptop and it has all the updated drivers from Lenovo's website.

Pictures are here:

Note: Some pictures show a Japanese keyboard. This has been changed out for a US keyboard. If desired, the Japanese keyboard can be swapped back.

Here's the pic of the US keyboard installed: http://picasaweb.google.com/rallyxrob/T ... 5134667682

I am asking $345 shipped to the continental US. I accept cash payments through Paypal with no additional fees. If using a credit card through Paypal, please add an additional 3% to cover the credit card fees.

I have great ebay feedback [ebay ID: GVR4-330] and I just shipped off another laptop to a member here in the Czech Republic. Hopefully when he gets that he can add positive feedback.

Thanks for looking!

Yeah, you caught me while I was trying to fix that. I can't figure out how to make certain folders public and others private on photobucket. So everything is on picasa now.

Well now that I've had experience sending overseas, that is no problem.

I'll still only ask $345+actual shipping. Shipping to Europe with FedEx or UPS will probably be around $150, but shipping with USPS will be around $50. I of course will give you the exact numbers when I have them.

Thanks savarin for the testimonial!
